6 THINGS YOU PROBABLY DON'T NEED TO KNOW
1. I'm a mom of 5, including 3 wild boys.
Sometimes our house feels like a zoo! It's worth it though, I wouldn't trade any of those animals away. And the times when they do get snuggly and sweet are definitely payback for the broken arms or punched walls. Haha.
All this to say, that nothing your kids do will phase me. Seriously. My house is messy, my family is loud, no one wants to sit still, and I'm pretty sure at least one of them has food on their shirt.
Don't stress. There is beauty in the chaos. Let me wrangle the kids and capture the true beauty in your whirlwind.
2. We moved to Utah when I was 8.
I still miss the beaches in Southern California, but there is something special about this beautiful Salt Lake Valley! We have so much variety in landscape, and having all 4 seasons is so much fun. (Okay, except when winter decides to overstay her welcome until June.)
There are so many great adventures to go on... rock climbing, camping (or hot dog roasting up the canyon), hikes, hot springs, unique parks, other beautiful locations. Which is your favorite? Let's document your family there!
3. My dad was our family photographer.
He passed away when I was 16.
While I'm grateful we have lots of photographs to view how he saw us and the world, I often wish he stepped in FRONT of the camera more often so we could have him in more photographs.
Your legacy matters. Let me help you feel beautiful in front of the camera and document your love and connection with your families.
4. The water is my happy place.
I should have been a mermaid because I love all things water. My childhood nickname was Tiffers, Queen of the Sea. I was on the swim team in high school. And now I love spending our vacations at the lake on our boat, or visiting a tropical location and exploring the underwater ecosystem while snorkeling.
Does your family love the water too? Let's plan an adventure session kayaking at the lake or snorkeling at the Homestead Crater in Midway!
6. A picture isn't worth 1,000 words.
Ever looked at an old, compelling photo and wished for its story? My mom loves genealogy so we have a plethora of old, compelling photographs.
As a teen, I scrapbooked with paper and stickers. Later, I was on a marketing team for digital scrapbook designers. (Here's one page for your viewing pleasure.) I've always valued the combination of photo and word.
Let me capture your full story – with stunning photos and meaningful words in an heirloom album, that your family can enjoy for years to come.
